This is my standing desk where I do painting, collages and other messy work.

My friend Scottie got me this awesome Spanish Planet of the Apes poster. Just got this heavy duty Carhartt apron from my friends Lucie and Phil. It has ALOT of pockets – yes!

These shelves have all my sketchbooks and art materials, so they are always on hand.

I have my paints and the tools that I use most frequently in these tubs for quick access. The canvas bag (from Rat Island Bags on the Isles of Scilly) has paints, brushes and everything I need when I’m out sketching. My wife made me the lovely tweed pencil case on the bottom right.

More favourite tools – Cork backed steel ruler. Fiskars scissors (with Moomin print on handle). German made guillotine. Metal tin with scalpels, lino cutters, awl and other sharp things.

My cousin Pippa painted this amazing watercolour of White Island in the Isles of Scilly as a wedding present for us.

Painted cartridge paper – have lots of these I’ve painted with different colours and patterns ready to go to make collages.

My wife made me this amazing pinboard out of corks. The picture in the middle is of me and my sister when we were little. I am reading a book about squirrels, she is picking her nose. The ping pong bat was a present from my nephew.

Sofa -good for getting away from the desk for a minute and for reading and playing guitar.
