Thursday 13th October 2022, 6pm – 9pm
If you’re planning to come, you can register on Eventbrite
But it’s equally fine to just turn up!
Red Sails & Pilchards is a 36 page, illustrated book that introduces Cornwall’s fishing history. It’s full of maps, cutaway diagrams and illustrations that tell the story of the county’s fishing harbours and wooden sailing luggers in the industry’s heyday of the 19th and early 20th century.
MORE ABOUT THE EVENT
It’s free and everyone is welcome, so please bring friends!
Dogs are welcome too.
Solskinn cafe & bar is upstairs at:
The Poly, 24 Church St, Falmouth, Cornwall, TR11 3EG
Please note: venue is on first floor, with 2 flights of stairs and unfortunately, (it’s an old building) there is no wheelchair access.
It’s mainly just to celebrate the end of a big project and an excuse for a get together for a drink and a chat!
We’d also love to show you the book and we’ll have some stuff from its development on display. In addition there will be books, prints and cards by myself and Design for Today for sale (but feel under no obligation to buy anything).
Thursday 13th is also the first day of Falmouth Oyster Festival, so it’s a good evening in general for a wander into town.
