Sketching at Chun Downs last winter. The ground was very waterlogged but I was rewarded when I got to Chun Quoit. A little flock of golden plovers were doing murmurations overhead. There were also beautiful rainbows and squalls out to sea (but had to shelter under the quoit when they hit the land!)
Back at home I used some lovely oak gall ink by Naomi at creativeroots.earth to make textures for the rocks and bracken. The finished illustration is November in my 2025 calendar and diary.
